Description

Companies compete by providing products and services to their customers. Developing and delivering new products at scale requires understanding and integrating the activities of multiple functions, including marketing, R&D, operations, customer service and sales. This module looks at the key decisions that companies need to make in product, technology and operations management and associated concepts, tools and best practices.

Operations Management is a major driver of profitability and growth. It deals with the design, management, and alignment of products and services, processes, and supply chains. In this module, students will be learning how to manage operations at the process level, tactical level, and strategic level. Students will first learn how to manage processes and effectively match processes with products. Then, students will learn how to manage product development, inventory, and supply chains. The module will conclude with a broader strategical look at both in-house and outsourced operations.
