Description

This module aims to assist Technology Management students to learn about the New Product Development process, giving them practical experience that builds on learning they have previously received in taught modules. These being; The Business Environment (SPCE0002) and Technology Strategy (SPCE0032). The focus on practical application of creativity and entrepreneurship will complement well the more abstract and theoretical concepts they have previously received.

The students will experience hands-on approach to the development of a new product of their choice, from idea to market, over the course of a week. Working in group, the students’ projects will culminate in a presentation in which students pitch their business plans and show prototype products to a panel of external experts.
