Description

Students undertake an independent research project under the supervision of faculty member who is an expert in the relevant area (the programme is joint 香港六合彩 SoM and 香港六合彩 Economics, so the supervisor could be from either department or have themselves, a joint affiliation). The aim of the MRes Research Project is for students to design and carry out a substantial piece of original research on a topic that is interesting to them. The specific project will be jointly decided by the students and their supervisor.听

The research project will result in a dissertation of 5,000-10,000 words. As invaluable practice and preparation for submitting research manuscript for publication, students are required to submit the thesis in the form of a manuscript submitted to a prestigious journal for publication.

This is a heavily-weighted module, which reflects the importance of the research project within the overall MRes programme.听
