The NSCI0016 Literature Project involves the creation of a logical, comprehensive, comprehensible, and correct account of the background to the field of your research project. A dissertation of about 2000-3000 words is required and should include a survey of published work related to the topic selected. It should also contain a description of the objectives and the roadmap of your research project (e.g. Gantt chart, proposed experimental/modelling procedures) in the light of this published work. Your first source of guidance on writing your literature report will be your academic project supervisor.
