Description

Module description:ÌýÌý

This is a core module for all pathways on the MA Translation and MSc Translation and Technology. The module offers an overview of theoretical ideas about translation and language that have a direct impact on translation practice. The syllabus is research-informed, and whilst being annually reviewed, it is likely to encompass theories of equivalence, functional translation theories, descriptive translation studies, linguistics-bases translation theories, translation and culture, translation and globalisation, translation ethics, translation technologies.Ìý
