Description

Description:

This module departs from the premise that nowadays ethical conduct is fundamental to economic success, and anthropological thinking can make an invaluable contribution to business negotiations and strategies. Drawing on literature about the anthropology of ethics, this module offers new ways for students to understand and engage with the everyday problems that they may encounter within a business and/or enterprise context.ÌýÌýÌý

Module Content:

It combines intellectual debates about different anthropological frameworks with ‘case-studies’ about decision-making processes within real organizations.Ìý

Learning Outcomes:

This module enables students to practice a reflexive and ethical conduct that may later be applied in engagements with partners, employees, and customers.ÌýÌý

Formative Assessment: To create an organizational-ethics protocol.ÌýÌý

Summative Assessment: To write an essay engaging with topics discussed during the term.Ìý

Indicative Delivery Method:Ìý

One 3-hour seminar per week
