Description

Based at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê East, the module uses East London as a living lab to understand London through aÌýtransdisciplinary lens, taking into account architecture, the arts, the built environment, culture,Ìýdemographics, economy, environment, geography, governance, history, politics and urban planning.ÌýThrough talks and site visits, and the use of the Urban Room and Memory Workshop, students areÌýexposed to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s heritage of work and key thinkers on London, its collections (from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Special Collections and additional archives), and currentÌýapproaches to the study of London from different disciplinary perspectives and through the use ofÌýdifferent media.
