Drug Discovery 2 aims to examine how the pharmaceutical industry is addressing the current unmet clinical need, with regards to drug development. Students will be introduced to translational medicine, transforming discoveries in the laboratory into the next generation of therapeutics. The module focuses on novel therapeutics, in inflammation, infectious disease, orphan diseases and tumour biology.
