Description
This module consolidates learning through supervised clinical practice. Graduates will have learnt through treating patients in a real-life (clinic) supervised learning environment in a previous module. Learning progression is continuously monitored to allow tapering down of clinical supervision to allow development of independence in decision-making and diversity in treatment delivery. Integration of academic and clinical learning is continued through case conferences and topic discussions on selected learning-rich cases and topical clinical issues. In addition, this module also recognises the need to develop and hone diagnostic and treatment planning skills through supervised new patient assessments.
