This module will teach you to understand the importance of intellectual property (IP) rights in Pharma.
IP underpins the pharmaceutical industry - there are well established laws governing IP and other practices in the drug industry.
It is also important to understand the importance, complexity, and costs of developing a new drug. There are a number of different phrases of drug development, each with their associated costs and success/failure rates.
We will explore these concepts by doing an online tutorial on intellectual property.
This module will be beneficial for students who want to learn the broad concepts of IP and marketing operations in the drug industry.
