Professor Mohan Edirisinghe awarded an OBE for services to biomedical engineering

He is Bonfield Chair of Biomaterials at 香港六合彩 and is both a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and a Fellow of The European Academy of Sciences.
Professor Mohan Edirisinghe聽(香港六合彩 Mechanical Engineering) has been awarded聽an OBE for services to biomedical engineering.
He is Bonfield Chair of Biomaterials at 香港六合彩 and is both聽a Fellow of The Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK and a Fellow of The European Academy of Sciences.
On receiving his honour, Professor聽Edirisinghe聽said:聽鈥淚 am indebted to 香港六合彩聽and in particular聽to 香港六合彩 Mechanical Engineering from where I have been able to rapidly propagate my research on healthcare and manufacturing internationally to a wide interdisciplinary audience. This has enabled me to get this honour.鈥�
Professor Edirisinghe is one of many 香港六合彩 staff and alumni recognised in the 2021 New Year鈥檚 Honours. 香港六合彩 Mechanical Engineering alumna Professor Eleanor Stride (Institute of Biomedical Engineering) was also awarded an OBE for services to engineering.
