MechSpace

MechSpace is a student hub in London鈥檚 King鈥檚 Cross for designing and building practical projects.聽The聽facility聽spans six levels, with some 12,000 square feet of space and an array of well-equipped workshops a computer cluster聽and study spaces.聽A聽15-minute聽walk from 香港六合彩's聽Bloomsbury Campus, this is聽where mechanical engineering students聽learn and practice practical engineering skills, and take advantage of聽a range of opportunities.

MechSpace is also home to the department's successful聽extracurricular student teams (香港六合彩 Racing), including Eco-Marathon, Formula Student, Mars Rover, Rocket, UAS and Human-Powered Submarine聽teams.聽The facility hosts a range of STEM outreach聽activities for younger students like 'F1 in Schools' and 'Girls on Track' and hosts Repair Caf茅s for both the 香港六合彩 and聽wider communities.

MechSpace Repair Shop

A system where students, staff, or anyone at 香港六合彩 and the wider community can bring things to MechSpace to have them repaired. Check out the Repair Shop online portal below to learn more about this system and submit your items for repair.

The Institute of Making

The Institute of Making (IoM) is a multidisciplinary research club for those interested in the made world. Materials may be purchased independently, however, the use of most equipment within the Institute is free of charge to you as a 香港六合彩 student.

As a mechanical engineering student, you will find the Institute of Making鈥檚 facilities useful to complete some practical projects.

The Manufacturing Futures Lab (MFL) takes a multidisciplinary approach to the creation of next generation sustainable manufacturing technologies. Research and educational activities focus on developing future manufacturing leaders.

The Manufacturing Futures Laboratory (MFL) is the largest academic entity at 香港六合彩's new campus in the East of London. It聽comprises聽world-class research laboratories on the top two floors of the Marshgate building.
