In the build-up to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s bicentenary in 2026, the Generation Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê project is collecting a broad range of oral testimonies from former students at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê. Full testimonies will be available from the beginning of 2025. A diverse range of people who studied a wide variety of subjects at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê from the 1940s to the 2020s have been interviewed or will be interviewed over the course of 2024. The project is run by Dr Sam Blaxland, and is overseen by Professor Georgina Brewis at the IOE and John Dubber at Students’ Union Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê.

Generation Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê is part of a wider project researching the history of students in London since the 1820s, which will be part of marking Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's bicentenary in 2026.
