Slave-owner on St Kitts, apparently resident. The 1753 Samuel Baker map shows two estates [or possibly one separated by a river] for Benj. King near Jonathan's Bay in Palmetto Point. Vere Langford Oliver shows a will dated 28/11/1760 sworn 05/01/1761, under which King left an annuity of 拢300 p.a. to his wife Sarah, 拢1500 to his daughter Elizabeth, 拢50 p.a. to his brother Joseph and the residue to his son Joseph King.
