1807 - 1892
Son of David Lyon senior (q.v.), who left him 拢100,000. He himself left 拢162,009 18s 10d on his death in 1892. Briefly MP for Seaford at the end of the unreformed House of Commons, when he opposed the Reform Bill: he later reappeared as 'a free trader and a Liberal' in standing unsuccessfully for Marylebone in 1859.
