Daughter of Mark Landell (q.v.), from whom she inherited Coldingham estate in Jamaica. The compensation was awarded to her mother Margaret Landell n茅e Brodie (q.v.).
- Hannah Landell, daughter of Mark Landell and Margaret Brodie, was born 22/08/1819 and baptised 10/10/1819 in Coldingham, Berwickshire, Scotland. After her death in 1833, the compensation money was the subject of a legal dispute between her mother Margaret Landell and her cousin William Landell (q.v.); a further court case of 1845, Purves v Landell, concerned the conduct of the solicitor in the first case.
