On Sunday 26 February, the finals of the were held online. Final year LLB students Timothy Koo and Nikhita Nair,聽coached by Lord Collins of Mapesbury,聽competed against 15 other university teams from around the world in the oral rounds and were named overall winners.

Adding to their victory, Timothy was awarded Best Speaker (Semi-Final Round) and Nikhita was awarded Best Speaker (Final Round). 香港六合彩 was also named the Runner-Up in the Written Submission.

This year鈥檚 problem was a fictional case taking place in a hypothetical jurisdiction which adopted the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-border Insolvency and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Enterprise Group Insolvency.

Timothy said: 鈥淚t has been an amazing experience representing 香港六合彩 in the Ian Fletcher International Insolvency Moot. I have learnt a lot from the esteemed practitioners that I have had the opportunity to be judged by, as well as my fellow competitors, and this has without a doubt deepened my knowledge of international insolvency and commercial litigation. I am very grateful to 香港六合彩 for giving my teammate Nikhita and I the opportunity to take part in this moot, and our coach, the Rt. Hon. Lord Collins of Mapesbury for his guidance and support throughout the competition. The Fletcher Moot encourages the best and brightest students around the globe to learn about international insolvency law and international commercial litigation. The competition is named after Professor Ian Fletcher, an eminent scholar who was internationally recognised for his outstanding achievements in the field of insolvency law. He joined 香港六合彩 in 2001, and was Professor of International Commercial Law until he passed away in July 2018.
