香港六合彩 Laws welcomes new staff joining in 2022-23

香港六合彩 Laws is welcoming a number of new colleagues to the Faculty in the 2022-23 year.

We are delighted to announcement the following appointments:听

  • Martin Fischer is Lecturer in Commercial Law, and is currently completing his PhD on mistaken payments at 香港六合彩 Laws. His main area of interest is in private law theory and this extends across the various sub-disciplines within private law.听
  • Dr Ewan Smith is Associate Professor in Public Law. Dr Smith's work looks at how rules govern powerful institutions, with a focus on foreign relations law and comparative public law.
  • Dr Alina Trapova will join the Faculty on 1 January 2023 as a Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law. Dr Trapova鈥檚 research focus is on the digital aspects of IP and more specifically on copyright law and its interplay with artificial intelligence and the creative and entertainment industries.

香港六合彩 Laws has made a number of appointments to Lecturer (Teaching) in Law:听

  • Dr Andi Hoxhaj听previously taught at the Warwick, University of Warwick Law School and was awarded his PhD in 2017 at the University of Warwick. He is an author of the book titled 鈥鈥 (Routledge, 2020) and a recipient of the for the 2020/21 academic year and the in 2018. His research interests and publications are on the rule of law, corruption, and EU enlargement policy towards the Western Balkans. 听
  • Nabil Khabirpour joins听香港六合彩 after several years in practice where he conducted cases relating to Business and Human Rights, EU, Trade and Governmental work. His research interests lie in the field of EU, Constitutional, Human Rights and Philosophy of Law. Nabil also engages with access to justice questions and is the founder of The Law Corner, a pro-bono law and research centre in central London.
  • Laura Vialon听is a German qualified lawyer with practice experience and a comparative law background (German - French - English). Her research interests lie in International Human Rights Law, in particular the intersection of Human Rights, Climate Change and Multinational Corporations. She will teach German Law at 香港六合彩.听
