Letter on Environment Bill published in The Telegraph, led by Professor Eloise Scotford

The letter argues that the Environment Bill - which aims to “maintain and improve our environmental protection” after Britain leaves the European Union - allows for weaker environmental standards to be introduced in the future.

A letter published today in The Telegraph - signed by 23 environmental law experts and led by Professor Eloise Scotford (Professor of Environmental Law at ϲ Laws) - argues that the new Environment Bill neither maintains current environmental protections nor enshrines the highest standards in law.Co-signatories of the letter includeϲ Laws’ Professor Philippe Sands, Professor Jane Holder, Professor Maria Lee, Professor Joanne Scott, and Professor Steven Vaughan.
