Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws victorious in the XXIV Old Buildings Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê-KCL Inter-Varsity Moot 2019/20

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê final year LLB students Christopher Moss and Georgios-Nikiforos Dougenis have emerged victorious in the moot against students from King’s College London, held on Tuesday 10th December 2019

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws at the XXIV Old Buildings Inter-Varsity Moot

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê-KCL Inter-Varsity MootÌýis a highlight in the external mooting programme. This year, the teams were asked to prepare submissions on a problem regarding Quistclose trusts and the equitable rules of tracing and claiming. The moot was judged by barristers from XXIV Old Buildings.

Following strong performances from all participants, the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê team were announced the winners and Christopher Moss was named the best advocate of the evening by the judges. The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê team were awarded the London Law Varsity Cup which will remain in Bentham House until the next Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê-KCL moot.Ìý
