2018-19 LLM students welcomed to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws

28 September 2018

Induction week marked the beginning of the academic year for new Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws LLM students.

LLM induction week

LLM students from across the globe were welcomed to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws with a packed schedule of events and activities during induction week.

Students heard from various members of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Laws staff, who delivered lectures on ‘hot topics’ in the field of law – such as the global credit crisis; lawyers’ ethics; and nationalism and identity.

There were also sessions on study skills; social events; campus tours; and team-building exercises. One activity involved building towers from spaghetti, providing the new students with an opportunity to get to know one another better.

On Friday afternoon, students took part in a Treasure Hunt around the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê campus. The winner will be announced at the Dean’s Welcome Reception next Wednesday.
