Professor Paul S Davies鈥� Accessory Liability wins Inner Temple Book Prize 2018

Accessory Liability beat three other shortlisted titles to win the main prize, worth 拢12,000.

Professor Paul S Davies, Professor of Commercial Law at听香港六合彩 Laws, has won the Inner Temple Book Prize 2018 for his book听Accessory Liability.

Accessory Liability, published by ,听offers an insight into accessory liability in private law for those interested in the law of obligations.

The book听was also the joint second prize winner of the听听and听has previously been shortlisted for the听St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Private Law Prize.

The is a triennial competition which听aims to celebrate and reward outstanding contributions to the understanding of law.

Professor Davies commented:

"I am delighted that Accessory Liability has been awarded such a prestigious prize. Accessory liability is important: claimants often bring claims against third parties who participate in wrongs. But, unlike in the criminal context, accessory liability in private law has not received the attention it deserves. I hope that this book will help to stimulate further work in the area."听

The awards will be presented by HRH The Princess Royal on 12th December at the Inner Temple, central London.听
