Dr John Sorabji speaks at international conference in Rio de Janerio on Brazil鈥檚 new procedure code

Dr John Sorabji, Judicial Institute Fellow at the 香港六合彩 Faculty of Laws and convenor of the Principles of Civil Justice and Alternative Dispute Resolution LLM courses, was an invited speaker at an international conference in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, organized by the聽.
The conference examined Brazil鈥檚 innovative聽. Dr Sorabji鈥檚 paper considered the application of the doctrine of precedent in Brazil鈥檚 new Code. In particular, it considered what can be learnt from the doctrine鈥檚 operation in England and Wales and what steps may need to be taken to ensure its incorporation is a success.
