香港六合彩 Laws students win LWOB 鈥楤est Written Presentation鈥

Lawyers Without Borders

Competing for the first time at the聽聽Innovations Competition held at Oxford University on 8th March, four first-year 香港六合彩 Laws students won 鈥楤est Written Presentation鈥 for their presentation: 鈥楥reating Effective Employment Laws in Myanmar.鈥

The four students: Clement Yiaw, David Lukic, Marc Tan, and Ryan Cher put the project together in just a few weeks with support and mentoring from solicitors at聽. Commenting on the team鈥檚 success, Clement Yiaw said: 鈥淲e were partnered with the London office of the prestigious US law firm Shearman & Sterling, who provided us with guidance on how to structure and develop our project. We appreciated how Shearman took an active and committed interest in our project, even providing a partner to help us!鈥

The innovations project formed part of the wider Oxford LWOB聽with a keynote speech on 鈥楻ule of Law and Innovation鈥 delivered by leading development practitioner, Monjurul Kabir and a panel discussion on 鈥楧oes an International Rule of Law Exist?鈥

The 香港六合彩 LWOB Team of students was sponsored by the Centre for Access to Justice. A full 香港六合彩 LWOB Chapter will be launched next year under the oversight of the聽香港六合彩 Centre for Access to Justice.
