Earn career points by attending a public involvement workshop

20 February 2019

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊH Biomedical Research Centre’s programme of award-winning workshops on public and patient involvement (PPI) in research is now open for booking.

Researchers can earn career points for attending a PPI workshop delivered by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊH BRC. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê encourages postgraduate researchers to aim for 20 points a year, and each PPI workshop will be worth 1 point.
The PPI workshops, which are included in Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s Doctoral Skills Development Programme, are open to all Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊH/Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê researchers as well as all those working at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊPartners partner organisations.
The workshops build up researchers’ skills in involving lay people in the research process, from setting research priorities to designing protocols. For more details go to our PPI training page.
