Use a public BT Wi-Fi network for free without a BT account.

ISD runs a service for Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê staff and students to use the BT public Wi-Fi network without a BT account.

Following the return to campus for both staff and students, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê intends to withdraw the BT WiFi service from 27 February 2023.

If you are struggling with a poor connection and there is a BT Wi-Fi access point where you are, you can now connect to it using your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê username and password and VPN (virtual private network) client. As well as BT Openzone, access to public BT Wi-Fi is widespread in the UK and may offer a solution if your current connection is unstable.
