The Translational Neuroscience group of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê/H Biomedical Research Centre is hosting a half day workshop designed for BRC clinicians and researchers wishing to understand the use of generative AI in neuroscience and healthcare applications.

Through a series of talks and case studies, three featured speakers will present on emerging types of generative AI tools and strategies for implementing AI in imaging, genomics, and digital data. In addition, four case studies will be presented by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê/H researchers on situations where AI has been used in different areas of neuroscience and a panel will discuss the successes, challenges, and future directions of using AI in different neuroscience domains.

Featured speakers include Dr. Carole Sudre, University College London; Professor Delmiro Fernandez-Reyes, University College London; and Professor James Teo, King’s College London.

Attendees are invited to submit in advance case studies from their own work where a solution to a challenging problem involving rich, high-dimensional data has been implemented with standard statistical methods or conventional AI.ÌýPlease submit your proposal as soon as possible to Prof. Parashkev Nachev (p.nachev@ucl.ac.uk) and Hannah Collins (hannah.collins@ucl.ac.uk) by 15th September 2024.
