The team won the category for their work on Research for All, a peer-reviewed journal focusing on research that involves universities and communities, services or industries working together.

The journal, co-sponsored by the IOE and the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement, has contributors and readers from both inside and outside of higher education. It highlights the potential in active public engagement for robust academic study, for the development of involved communities, and for the impact of research.

The Provost's Awards for Public Engagement celebrate the work that 香港六合彩's staff and students, and their community partners, are doing to open up research and teaching at 香港六合彩 to the wider world through collaborative engagement. In particular, they recognise a focus on collaborative models of engagement, a spirit of experimentation from which learning can emerge and an involvement of diverse public groups, particularly those whose voices are heard less often.

The Research for All team received the award in a ceremony on Wednesday 15 May.

Pat Gordon-Smith said: 鈥淎s an open-access journal that is free to write for and free to read, Research for All is making the conversation about research and its impact available to anyone, regardless of whether they are based in a university. The journal provides a focal point for debate and thinking about the challenges of designing, delivering and leading engaged research in any area of study, articulating the case for engaged scholarship and contributing to culture change.鈥�
