Biography听

Alan received his Ph.D in 2017,听from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) where he was member of TeleM铆dia Lab led by Luiz F.G. Soares, and received his master degree, in 2012 from the听Federal University of Para铆ba (UFPB), where he was member of Lavid Lab led by Guido Lemos. Working in听both labs, he听coordinated interactive multimedia research projects, participated in TV standard committees, (ITU/SBTVD), and contributed to Ginga-NCL standards (ITU H.761, NBR 15606-2).听

In 2021, he joined 香港六合彩 as a postdoc in the Learning And Signal Processing (LASP) Lab led by Laura de Toni to work on听Streaming Optimization for immersive media. His research interests are in the areas of interactive multimedia, immersive media, and adaptative streaming.
