On Friday 10 June 2022, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Health of the Public invited students from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê to attend a scenario event focusing on the evolving humanitarian situation in Yemen.
Throughout the day, students worked together in groups to consider how they would plan a health of the public approach for Yemen in 2023. They were given briefings from experts and practitionersÌýbefore considering scenarios including how to prioritise those most in need, how to prioritise key health response activities for people on the move, and, finally, howÌýrealistically they could deliver in Yemen.
The event was led by Dr Maria Kett (Associate Professor in Humanitarianism and Disability) andÌýDr Lisa Guppy (Lecturer in Humanitarian Logistics / Crisis Response).
