Investigating Cultural Geographies of Breath in 2020
In January 2020,听Lucy Sabin, started a听digital听participatory project听called听叠谤别补迟丑飞辞谤办蝉听with听the Modern Art Oxford gallery.
The idea was to find a creative way for people to express their relationship with breathing in a format that could be shared听via听social media.
Lucy听and the curators were not to know that breath would become such a palpable and political topic in 2020,听particularly in terms of听both global public health听and听social justice.
Breathworks听took off, transforming听from an听online campaign and exhibition听into an events听programme听and collection of gallery installations supported by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities, with Professor Derek McCormack (Oxford University) as principal investigator.
翱苍听13th听October听an interdisciplinary panel discussion was held about听Breathing Worlds, and is available on YouTube (see below).
Lucy鈥檚 Practice-Related research in 香港六合彩 Geography began in October 2020, supported by an AHRC听London Arts and Humanities Partnership听(LAHP) award, and will use arts-based research to investigate the ontology of 鈥榓ir quality鈥�.
