香港六合彩 Geography Travel Funds support 15 young scholars

In memory of Bill Mead and Frank Carter
Professor Hugh Clout reports:
"The聽latest round of awards from the聽Bill Mead Travel Fund聽has聽given financial support to聽seven 香港六合彩 Geography postgraduates planning to attend conferences or carry out research in聽Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, and Portugal.
"The Fund, was set up when Professor Mead, long-serving head of department (1966-81), retired, based on funds contributed by Bill and his friends.
"The聽Frank Carter Travel Fund聽was established by the late Mrs Krystyna Carter in memory of her husband Professor Frank Carter (1938-2001). Frank joined 香港六合彩 in 1966 and taught the geography of Eastern Europe at 香港六合彩 and SSEES.
"This year the fund is supporting eight young scholars to attend conferences or undertake field research in聽Austria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, and the Netherlands.
"Next year, the deadline for applications is聽28 February 2021."
