Persistently stressed individuals more likely to be obese

A study led by Dr Sarah Jackson (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Epidemiology & Health) measured levels of the stress hormone cortisol in hair samples, finding that persistently stressed people were more likely to have a higher BMI and a larger waistline.
