• Dr Henry Goodfellow, 听has been appointed to a four year NIHR funded Academic Clinical Lecturer post working with the eHealth group at PCPH

听

• Dr Cini Bhanu, awarded Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship to undertake 听PhD with the PCPH Centre for Ageing and Population Studies (CAPS) 听on听鈥淯nderstanding hypotensive burden: use & safety of medications with blood pressure lowering effects in older people鈥�. 听Funded by the Dunhill Medical Trust .

• Dr Sophie Mylan, 听awarded ESRC Doctoral Studentship for the 香港六合彩, Bloomsbury and East London Doctoral Training Partnership, based in the Department of Global Health and Development at LSHTM.听听 Her PhD is on displacement and pandemic 鈥榩reparedness鈥� amongst refugees in northern Uganda.

听

• Dr Rakesh Modi听,听awarded Wellcome Trust PhD Programme for Primary Care Clinicians. He will be based at the Primary Care Unit, University of Cambridge.听 His PhD study will be a qualitative evaluation of atrial fibrillation screening implementation.

听听

• Dr Meena Rafiq, 听After completing her ACF in 2017 Meena went on to 听an IPF based at the Institute of Health Informatics using longitudinal GP electronic health records to identify predictors for Hodgkin鈥檚 Lymphoma in young adults. She has recently been awarded a Royal Marsden Partners Pan-London Cancer Research Fellowship for 听18 months to build on this work in a joint initiative between the three London Cancer alliances and three 香港六合彩 departments (IHI, PCPH and BSH).

In Practice Fellowship this year were also awarded to:

• Dr Zana Khan,听(honorary senior lecturer at 香港六合彩) awarded an NIHR In-Practice Fellowship working with PCPH and the听 IEHC Collaborative Centre for Inclusion Health (CCIH). Zana will be researching interprofessional education in inclusion health.听听

听

• Dr Pushpa Nair, awarded 听NIHR In Practice Fellowship 听(IPF) - working with CAPS on studies exploring cultural differences in dementia.

听

• Dr Arnoupe Jhass, awarded a two year听NIHR In Practice Fellowship (IPF) working with the PCPH Infections in Primary Care Group and the Institute of Health Informatics (IHI) to explore the drivers of antibiotic prescribing behaviour using large datasets and qualitative research.

听

• 听Dr Jess Carter (recently Academic ST4 in PCPH) awarded an NIHR In Practice Fellowship working with the infections team at St George鈥檚 University of London on improving migrant health: engaging GPs and migrants around delivering effective parasite screening and treatment in UK primary care
