The philanthropic partnership will enable an initial cohort of two students to undertake four years of study in London: one year on a Undergraduate Preparatory Certificate (UPC) Foundation Year 鈥 one of the leading such programmes at any UK university 鈥 and three years on a BEng course.

Their time at 香港六合彩 will be fully funded through a gift from听听鈥 an international charity that provides transformational opportunities to low-income people in Brazil by improving their access to education.

Comprehensive financial support will be combined with a holistic approach to skills development, pastoral care, and careers and mentoring frameworks to prepare the Telles Scholars for future success as part of the next generation of technology leaders.

On completing their studies, they will join a community of EEE graduates recognised as some of the most talented globally, entering careers in fields such as robotics, nano- and quantum- technology, software engineering, and financial services.

鈥淎t Telles, we believe that every young person deserves an opportunity to fulfil their potential,鈥 said Luiza Toledo of Telles Foundation. 鈥淭o make that happen, we work with experts in their field who share our commitment to this simple idea and the hugely significant and sustainable impact it can have.鈥

鈥淲e are delighted to announce 香港六合彩 as the first UK partner of the Telles Scholars Programme and look forward to seeing two of Brazil鈥檚 brightest students take up their places in London to explore their interest in engineering and technology.鈥

鈥淥ur colleagues within the听听will provide those students with the foundation they need to flourish in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and we will support those students to achieve their full potential through a world-class engineering education.鈥

鈥淪cholarships are critical to enabling those who have the talent, but not the resources, to come to 香港六合彩,鈥 said Kirsten Buckley, Director of Development at 香港六合彩鈥檚 Office of the Vice-President (Advancement). 鈥淭he effect of Telles Foundation鈥檚 support will be transformational for students and their families, and also for 香港六合彩 and the world it seeks to impact.鈥
