Before joining Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's CDT in data intensive science I completed an integrated masters at Imperial College London in Physics with Theoretical Physics. For my masters' thesis I explored entanglement entropy relations and scalings within quantum gravity, specifically in the context of causal set theory. I was drawn to this CDT by its structure with an initial block of training as well as the opportunity to gain experience within industry from the group project and placement. However, the aspect which was most important to myself was the opportunity to work on quantum machine learning and its applications to particle physics, offering me the unique chance to work in an emerging field of the technology sector while continuing to engage with high energy physics research.Ìý
