Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Special Collections invites you to an exclusive curator tour of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Octagon Gallery's latest exhibition, 'Generation Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê: 200 Years of Student Life in London'.Ìý
In anticipation of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê’s bicentenary in 2026, this exhibition explores two centuries of university life, placing students at the heart of the institution's history. On display are items from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Special Collections, Students' Union Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Museums, each of which sheds light on an aspect of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê student life. During this tour, you'll get a chance to discover more about the objects on display and the stories that they can tell from one of the exhibition curators. Learn about Students' Union Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, - now one of the largest student-led organisations in the world - national and international student activism, and hear from former students about their time at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê via oral history interviews with alumni and extracts from memoirs voiced by actors.

Location
Meet your tour guide at the Octagon Gallery on the ground floor of the Wilkins Building. A Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê card is not required to enter.
The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Octagon Gallery is located in Bloomsbury, in the heart of central London. The nearest tube stations are Euston Square (Metropolitan, Circle, Hammersmith & City), Goodge Street (Northern Line), Warren Street (Victoria Line), and buses 18, 30, 73, 134 and 205 stop 3-5 minutes away on Euston Road.

The Octagon Gallery is within the Wilkins Building on the ground floor which has step-free access from the Main Quad.
