Graduate Taught
We have a thriving postgraduate community, with 30-40 postgraduate students at any time, with research student projects ranging across the whole field of Greek, Roman and ancient Middle Eastern studies and their reception.
Facilities for postgraduate study are outstanding. We are within walking distance of the British Museum and the British Library. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê has its own excellent research libraries, and the major libraries of the , the , the , and are five minutes away. Our graduate students enjoy dedicated research and social space and IT facilities within the department.

Programme Structure and Modules for MA Reception of the Classical World
This MA programme is for students with a first degree in classics, classical civilisation, history, art, archaeology, modern languages, or comparative literature who wish to develop their understanding of classical culture, as a foundation for further research or as a qualification in its own right.
