Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering - UG Open Day 2024
Undergraduate teaching atÌýÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊÌýCivil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (CEGE) embraces the full range of civil engineering, from structural design and soil mechanics to earthquakes, transport, environmental and systems engineering. At the end of our undergraduate degree programmes, you will have the technical ability and understanding to make the world better.
Our civil engineering undergraduate programmesÌýare flexible, so you can build a degree to suit the type of civil engineer you wish to be. With the opportunity to specialise in a range of subjects and disciplines from across Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Engineering, via the IEP Minor (for both BEng and MEng students), and advanced optional modules in the final year of our MEng programme, you get the exciting chance to customise your studies with us, plus learn with peers from other Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Engineering departments.
Both our BEng and MEng Civil Engineering programmes are part of the IEP, or Integrated Engineering Programme, teaching framework. Find out more by visiting theÌýIEP webpage.Ìý
If you study the Civil EngineeringÌýMEngÌýwith us, you will have the opportunity to take part in theÌýÏã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê StudyÌýAbroad programme,Ìýspending your third year at one of our partner institutions in Asia, Europe, North America or Australia.Ìý
Students looking to combine the study of engineering with architecture may be interested in our Engineering and Architectural Design MEng, a four-year integrated Master’s degree, taught in collaboration with The Bartlett School of Architecture and the Institute of Environmental Design and Engineering.Ìý
This programme challenges students to develop robust knowledge and experience of architectural, environmental and structural design and engineering in buildings. Please note, The Bartlett School of Architecture is the home department for this programme.Ìý
