All students have a primary supervisor, a secondary supervisor and a thesis committee for individual subject training and support throughout.
During your first year you attend a cancer training programme to understand the key cancer science issues. This covers areas such as:
- Human Tissue Act and the Biobank
- Tissue Preparation and Staining
- Basics of Proteomics
- Principles of Good Clinical Lab Practice
- Clinical Trial Design and Regulation
- In vivo Study Design and Regulation
- Preclinical Radiotherapy
- Single Cell Analysis
For personal development, you will be under Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê's Doctoral School and take part in their development training programme.
