About the role

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute for Sustainable Resources (ISR) is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Teaching) in Climate Finance and Investment (maternity leave cover). The successful candidate will lead and teach a module on Climate Finance. All our MSc programmes contain a significant balance of face-to-face teaching and student support on campus in London. The module focuses on the role of climate finance in meeting climate goals.

The selected candidate will have expertise in:

  • Climate finance and climate change intersection
  • Key financial instruments, financing structures and investment criteria used in climate finance
  • Climate risks in investment portfolios • Role of central banks and financial regulators in governing climate financial flows and climate finance scenarios
  • Climate finance challenges in specific sectors/areas, e.g. hard to abate sectors, biodiversity and developing countries.

About you

You will have experience in delivering postgraduate taught modules in topics related to climate and sustainable finance, as well as experience of successful postgraduate research supervision (MSc and/or PhD). You will have a PhD in an area relevant to the area of climate or sustainable finance and investment (at least MSc plus equivalent experience under exceptional circumstances).
