The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute for Sustainable Resources is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow to help deliver the final year of the research and communication programme under the Economics of Energy Innovation and Systems Transition (EEIST) project.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute for Sustainable Resources (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê ISR) generate knowledge in the globally sustainable use of natural resources and train the future leaders of the field. This position will be for at least one year, to be extended if follow-on funding is secured. This role will be central in delivering the final year of the research and communication programme under the Economics of Energy Innovation and Systems Transition (EEIST) project, and in helping to secure funding for follow-on projects. Funding is available for 12 months in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available.

Key Requirements

The successful candidate with have a Masters or equivalent experience in economic and policy-related dimensions of energy systems, clean energy technologies and climate change, and innovation. They will also have the ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary and multicultural teams, and an ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, with businesses, policy makers, academics and civil society organisations.
