Practising partnerships with equivalence
A practice that seeks to support and inspire all engagements between The Bartlett and international partners in the civil society, the public and private sector.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The Bartlett鈥檚 staff and students, together with our international partners, have developed innovative ways to continue with, and start new partnerships with equivalence despite the multiple challenges faced.听
To capture these practices, The Bartlett Vice-Dean International Professor Adriana Allen led an initiative called 鈥楨ngaging internationally beyond the lockdown: practicing partnerships with equivalence across The Bartlett, 香港六合彩鈥�. Through a video series, this initiative showcases powerful stories and experiences from different parts of the faculty that talk to the above objectives under creative ways of remote engagement.
Living Heritage Atlas
A learning alliance between The Bartlett Development Planning Unit and multiple stakeholders in Colombia that co-created an integrated transformation strategy in the context of Medellin鈥檚 post-pandemic recovery.听
Bartlett Hacks
A cross-faculty designed to foster collaboration and develop ideas for the climate emergency, and helping build resilience for a post-pandemic world.
ToolSanDurban
A research team co-led by The Bartlett School of Construction and Project Management and The Bartlett Development Planning Unit working with eThekwini Municipality in Durban to develop the role of sanitation in achieving the SDGs.
Greening the Recovery in Zambia and Ghana
A cross-faculty team led by The Bartlett Energy Institute in collaboration with partners in Africa that works to integrate economic recovery and climate change policies听in Ghana and Zambia.
PROCOL Kenya
Led by the Institute for Global Prosperity in close collaboration with local partners, is an innovative collaborative research programme seeking to broaden the discussion of what constitutes prosperity in Africa.
Overdue
Together with , The Bartlett Development Planning Unit works to understand why urban sanitation has been historically relegated to a gendered taboo in order to strengthen just sanitation pathways for African cities.
