Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê ISH produces video from landmark Burghley Park Workshop 2017

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê ISH has produced a video of a landmark workshop hosted at Burghley Park, the site of the world-renowned Burghley Horse Trials.

On May 17, 2017, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê ISH visited Burghley Park to lead a workshopÌýwhich is part of a wider ISH project focussing on the links between heritage and sport.

The workshop explored the relationship between the performance of equine athletes and the condition of the ground – of particular importance to heritage sites rich in archaeology that host equestrian sporting events, like Burghley Park.

In this video, leading experts in equine biomechanics, geophysics, heritage, landscape architecture and archaeology talk about the importance of the cross-disciplinary work being led by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê ISH.

  • Elizabeth Inman, Director of the Burghley Horse Trials
  • Russell Guire, founder of Centaur Biomechanics
