This research project is being undertaken in partnership and collaboration with Prof Michelle Pace from Roskilde University, Dr. Yasser Abu Jamel and Dr Ziad Abu Mustafa from the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, and will聽examine how slow violence affects Gaza鈥檚 young generation in terms of their increasing vulnerability to mental health challenges, and how existing resilience networks could serve as a vehicle for better strategic intervention in mental health.

The research will be based on a pilot supported by the Wellcome Trust and The Bartlett Synergy Grant:聽, which studied how power, violence and health become entangled in conflict zones and what kind of resilience strategies are developed by individuals and communities.

The project outcomes include an聽, a blog,聽聽a podcast,聽, and a short documentary,聽聽which are all open access for the public.聽
