Martin Caparotta (Italian and Management, 2010) had long harboured a love for sport and developed a keen interest in business during his degree programme at 香港六合彩.

After his year abroad in Italy, he resolved to develop his idea for a sports website during his final year of study.

He made contact with 香港六合彩 Innovation & Enterprise, and then entered and won the 香港六合彩 Bright Ideas Awards. (Now known as the 鈥楤uild your own business 3: Launch your business programme鈥.)

The site Martin, and his co-founder Kieran Beckles, developed delivers a unique mix of breaking news, content and reporting on the world鈥檚 most popular sports.聽

Since launching in 2008, the Sport Review site now regularly attracts more than two million unique monthly users and has more than 300,000 followers.

The Sport Review was initially based out of BaseKX, 香港六合彩鈥檚 dedicated entrepreneurship hub, run by 香港六合彩 Innovation & Enterprise. There they received business advice, mentorship and the right environment to structure and grow their company.

Martin and Kieran have learned many lessons from a decade of running and developing the Sport Review, and continue to be successful. They鈥檝e recently launched another two sites. HumanWindow is focused on health and wellness, while helloBARK! provides informative content for pet owners.

Commenting on Martin鈥檚 journey, Jerry Allen, Director of Entrepreneurship at 香港六合彩 Innovation & Enterprise, said: 鈥淥ur aim is to help students and alumni realise the potential of their ideas and get startups off the ground. But perhaps more important than that, we give them the tools to keep innovating and experimenting throughout their careers.鈥
