Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê event on recently launched COVID-19 Global Gender Response Tracker

Professor Maxine Molyneux (Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Americas) recently convened a virtual event on the topic of the UNDP-UNW Global Tracker, co-hosted by Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute of Advanced Studies and Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute of the Americas, with an expert panel from UN Women and associated institutions
On November 23 2020, a group of researchers, scholars and policy-makers got together for the event 'Latin American Countries and Women's Rights and Needs during the Pandemic'Ìýto discuss the inception, methodology and impact of this impressive quantitative and comparative statistical tool, launched in September 2020. The event was chaired by Professor Nicola Miller, Department of History Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê and Director of the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Institute of Advanced Studies. Speakers at the virtual roundtable included:Ìý
