Am I eligible for alumni benefits from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê?

If you were enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê for 100 days or more, you are eligible for all alumni benefits.

If youÌýcompleted the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Summer School, you can apply for associate alumni status by emailing alumni@ucl.ac.uk.

If you undertook an intercollegiate course, elective or sabbatical role, unfortunately, you do not qualify for alumni status.

What is my alumni ID?

Your alumni ID is a reference that can be found at the top of any mailings from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê, beginning ‘8-‘ followed by 8 digits. If you have not received emails from us or cannot find this information please contact us quoting your date of birth and we will email your ID to you directly.

You may have a shorter alumni number from several years ago. To convert this to the new form simply add a prefix of 8-10, 8-100, or 8-1000 to create your new alumni ID. For example, 53775 is now 8-10053775.

How do I access e-journals?

You can access e-journals through the alumni e-journal access portal, which can be found under the benefits and services tab to the left of this page. To log in you will need to use your credentials as registered for the alumni website. Resetting your password on the alumni website will reset your password for the e-journals.

I am having trouble accessing my email account

If you enrolled at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê post-September 2009 you will still have access to your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê inbox. To reset your password please contact ISD at servicedesk@ucl.ac.uk or 020 7679 5000.

Unfortunately, if you enrolled before this time we cannot offer you an extension to your student account. You are eligible for an Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊMail account. For more information see the Email for Life section.ÌýIf you are having trouble logging in to your Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²ÊMail account or have any other queries regarding your account please email help@uclmail.net.

Do I have access to Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê MicrosoftÌýOffice 365 applications?

From 27 March 2023, changes are being made to the licences that are granted to alumni for Microsoft 365 products. From this date, Microsoft 365 licences for alumni who have no other active association with Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê will be changed to give access to email only.ÌýAny other Microsoft 365 online services and data, such as OneDrive, will no longer be accessible from alumni accounts.

If you wish to retain access to data, you must follow the necessary stepsÌýto ensure that your data is not deleted. Find out more about alumni licensing for Microsoft 365Ìý

How do I access the Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê libraries?

µþ²âÌý,Ìýalumni can visit Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Libraries and use study spaceÌýfor free without needing to book a desk. Alumni can alsoÌýborrow up to 5 books at a time from the Library forÌý£50 per year.
