香港六合彩in India: strengthening partnerships

Principal theme: Delivering global impact

Vice-Provost (International) Dame Nicola Brewer led 香港六合彩 academics on a major visit to investigate new opportunities in India, in line with our Global Engagement Strategy (GES).

In Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi, our delegation met with leading public and private higher education institutions, top schools, charitable foundations and UK and Indian government bodies.

Among the organisations the delegation visited was the Mumbai-based Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action (SNEHA), with whom Professor David Osrin from 香港六合彩鈥檚 Institute of Global Health has been working in the Dharavi slums for over a decade.

Through their long-term partnership, they are successfully helping to improve children鈥檚 health and reduce gender-based violence.

" There was considerable enthusiasm for working with 香港六合彩 in all the sectors represented and more, both from our existing partners and those that we met for the first time.鈥澨Lesley Hayman, Head of Global Partnerships

The delegation left India with a strong list of contacts and ideas on which they hope to build future collaborations. Since then, 香港六合彩 has also hosted the annual roundtable discussion between chief executives from the Confederation of Indian Industry and Universities UK.
