Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Life Sciences is home to a vibrant, diverse community of outstanding students, researchers and world-leading academics studying the science and biology of life, from novel discoveries to the delivery of real-world solutions, from molecules and cells to populations and ecosystems. Four subjects across the Faculty are ranked in the global top ten – Pharmacy and Pharmacology (4), Biological Sciences (6), Anatomy and Physiology (8), Life Sciences and Medicine (9) (QS World University Rankings 2024), and EduRank rate Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê Biology 1st in the UK and Europe.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê has come second in the UK for research strength in 2021, helped in part by the Faculty of Life Sciences which is home to one of the most successful and productive groupings of biomedical researchers in Europe.
